These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

NOT LEGAL ADVICE

The Service does not provide legal advice. For example, when Ask Alice analyzes a patent claim, it is providing you with an likelihood that the claim would be found invalid based on its similarity to other claims in a corpus of claims that have been analyzed by human patent examiners. A licensed attorney is responsible for making and providing legal advice with respect to the analyzed claim.

As another example, when PTO Flow creates a reporting letter for a Patent Office document (e.g., an office action), the letter may include headings and template text that can be adopted (possibly with modification) by an attorney or law firm. The content included by PTO Flow is for the convenience of the user and not to be construed as legal advice from PTO Flow to the client.

Any reliance on content provided by the Service is at your own risk.

REFUNDS

If you are unsatisfied with the Service in any way, we will make reasonable efforts to address the issue and/or improve the Service as necessary, at no additional charge to you. If you remain unsatisfied, you may cancel at any time and for any reason. We will refund fees that you have paid us, prorated to the remaining amount of the service term. If you are paying on account, you remain liable for fees, prorated up to the date of termination.
